Sara's coma and Callie's jumbled memory inspire the design.
Callie's apartment layout wraps around and protects the center platform, which later reveals to be the hospital room in which Sara has been lying. The broken pieces of wood planks represent the fragmentation of memory. Lastly, the window blinds function as a symbol of Callie's living in darkness before accepting the violent trauma they experienced
