Max Van
he/him/his
In the pursuit of being a jack-of-all-trades, Master of theater
Born and raised in Việt Nam, Max had dreams of becoming a businessman by day and a secret spy by night, similar to Bruce Wayne. Little did he know, his love for storytelling as such would lead him to theatrical designs and collaboration. What started as an extracurricular activity in high school is his bachelor's degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Production and Design Studio (2024).
As he continues his journey to develop his process/aesthetic, he is committed to being a student of the world around him, a collaborator to all, and an artist with stories to tell. Max is interested in experimenting with new works. He seeks long-term collaborators who can fermentate ideas with him.
Max prides himself on being a jack-of-all-trades. Learning different trades and skills has taught him how to be flexible and versatile and, more importantly, how to think beyond one medium.
