SUMMARY
The story revolves around Alexis and her journey to finding herself outside of her relationship with her mom. She decided to travel to Alaska on her own. There she bonded with K, an animal-skin trade merchant. He tells her story about love and violent tragedy, that resulted in them witnessing a literal horse execution.
It is set in a surreal world, in which Alexis' mother is a set of talking teeth.
