The project's goal is to design a small intimate opera, inspired by the story of Cinderella
The design is inspired by the classism hierarchy embedded in the story and characters' arcs.
Placing the story on an oversized elegant couch force the difference between the upper class and the lower class. The metamorphosis of the couch from stuffed and deflated/gutted helps push the story to its final resolution when everyone finally comes together despite their differences
